"L.A's ONLY Tribute To UFO, LIGHTS OUT has just won the award for best tribute band of 2004 at the 10th annual Rock City News Awards" (ROCKIES)

Lights Out was formed in March 2004 by Steve and Rob. Immediately Rob informed us that we had our first show in 3 weeks. We all worked very hard and did our first show at Paladino's on April 17th 2004 with Rob on Lead Vocals/Steve on Lead Guitar/Mark on Rythem Guitar-Voc/Ernie on bass/Robert Conte on Keyboards-voc/Cisco Ortiz on drums. Cisco left the band and was replaced with James Leece for a few shows, Robert also left the band and Mark took over the Keys. Then Tom LeBlanc found himself in Lights Out for the long haul on the drums. Eventually in July 2005 the lineup changed again, Mark and Rob moved on to do Mr Scarry. Lights Out continued on and eventually Ernie also left the band. Steve and Tom kept the flag flying high with the new lineup. Thats all in the past and now the Original Lights Out is back Stronger, Tighter, with a new found Vigor.
